2024 Sequoia Cyclones Dive Coaches
HEAD COACH- ANDREA MEYERS
2024 is Andrea’s 15th year as the Sequoia Dive Team’s Head Coach. Before coming to Sequoia, Andrea was the diving coach at Vanderbilt University for two years. Before coaching she was a Division 1 diver at Southern Illinois University where she was All-Conference and Academic All-American. She has also completed the US Diving Safety Training Course for Competitive Diving. During the school year, she is busy as a Dive Coach at Harpeth Hall and MBA. Coach Andrea is know as Mrs. Meyers, the middle school teacher at Battle Creek Middle School in Spring Hill when she isn't coaching or being mom to her sweet and wonderful kids.
ASSISTANT COACH– AMY KENNEDY HARTMAN
2024 is Amy’s 15th year coaching with Sequoia also. Before becoming a coach at Sequoia, Amy was offered a scholarship at Florida Gulf Coast University and competed as a Division 1 diver and was also an All American diver. Amy is Head Dive Coach at Harpeth Hall and MBA. She was a diver and assistant coach at Middle Tennessee Diving for four years prior to coming to Sequoia. Amy placed in the top four at the State Championship all four years of her high school career. She has completed the US Diving Safety Training Course for Competitive Diving and is also an AAU Diving Coach. Amy goes by mom to her sweet and beautiful Willow when she isn't coaching. :)
ASSISTANT COACH - Draper Witherspoon
As a rising senior at Harpeth Hall, Draper has been diving at Sequoia with Coach Andrea and Coach Amy since the age of 6. After several years of training at both Sequoia and later Harpeth Hall, she was hired as a junior assistant coach in the summer of 2020. Draper has been the City Meet Champion several times throughout the last 11 years. In 2022 she was awarded the Hilary Parks Award for her outstanding contribution to the Nashville Diving League. We are happy to have her showing our younger divers how to work your way up in the ranks!
ASSISTANT COACH - Gabe Lett
Gabe started diving for Montgomery Bell Academy in middle school and is now a Senior working toward graduation in 2024. He placed 9th in the 2022 TN State Diving Meet in Knoxville. He also competes in golf. His passion for diving and drive for success has been a great contribution to Sequoia diving!

We offer private diving lessons for kids who miss a few practices or just want to improve their diving skills in a one-on-one setting.
