Singles and Mixed Doubles Coed Flex League
(Starting week of Sept. 7th)
Below you will find information about our Singles and Mixed Doubles Flex League starting the week of Sept. 7th.
About This League
This will be a fun/competitive league keeping members on the courts playing tennis and meeting new members. Players will be divided up by their tennis rating and grouped. The "Flex" part about this league means there is no set day for matches. Players will have an entire week to play their scheduled match. Players will be responsible for contacting each other, setting up their match and recording their score at the end. Now that men’s leagues are ending, Tuesday and Thursday nights will be a great time to schedule as well as weekends and daytime for those able. Please work together with your opponent/group to schedule these matches. The mixed doubles matches are always more difficult to schedule since 4 players are harder to coordinate.
League Dates: Starts the week of Sept. 7th (End date will depend on the number of players in each division)
League Fee: Free for all members, however members will pay indoor court fees if they decide to play matches indoors.
Registration: Please email: tennis@sequoiaclub.net to sign up. When you email, please indicate if you want singles, mixed doubles or both and your current tennis level.
Deadline: Tuesday, Sept. 1st
After registration is completed, members will receive an email with more detailed information and the league schedule.

Group Activities
Men's League Play:
We currently have 4 men's tennis team that play on either Tuesday or Thursday nights. The league play calls for intermediate to advanced level players. If you are not currently on a team and would like to play, please contact the tennis office and we will find the right place for you.
Past EVENTS
Men's Thursday Night Match Play
When: Thursday nights starting Oct. 3rd
Time: 6:00pm
Cost: Free to members
Details: Organized match play for our members level 3.0 and above. We will match up players based on level for the best competition. This will be a mix of singles and doubles matches.

Mixed Doubles Match vs Hillwood
Where: Hillwood Country Club
When: Thursday, Oct. 23rd
Time: 6:00-8:00pm
Cost: $55 per player (includes food and drink)
Details: This is a club vs club battle! We will play 7 lines of mixed doubles. Each club will need the following levels:
We will need two teams to be 7.5 combined level and above, and 5 teams between 6.0 and 7.0 combined level. For example, male player is rated 3.0 and female partner is rated 3.5. This team is rated a 6.5.

Thanksgiving Mixed Doubles Tennis Event
When: Wednesday, Nov. 26th
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $30.00 per player
Format: Mixed Doubles (Sign up with a partner or ask tennis office to help you find someone). We would like to invite out of town friends or family staying for the holidays.
Weather Policy: This event will be played outside due to the number of participants. We will cancel due to cold temperatures or rain.
Deadline: Sign up online, deadline Monday November 24th
Happy New Year Fun Run Tennis Drills 2026
Come sweat off your holiday fun and start the New Year off right!

What: High Intensity Drills
Time: 9:00am – 10:30am
Cost: Price based on number of participants

Cupid's Cup Mixed Doubles Social 2026
When: Friday February 13th
What: Mixed Doubles Round Robin Social
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Cost: $30 per member (nonmember guest fees apply)
Sign Up: 3.0 and up. Limited space. All registrations are online. Please sign up with a partner. Email the tennis office with questions help finding a partner for this event.
Friday Night Mixed Doubles Event
When: Friday, March 27th
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
Cost: $25.00 per player
Sign Up: All registrations are online.

Spring Indoor Contracts
When: April 6th - May 24th (7 week contract)
Cost: $210 + tax for 1.5 hours
$280 + tax for 2.0 hours

Memorial Day Mixed Doubles Social
When: Monday May 25th
Time: 9:00am-11:30am
Cost: This event is free to all Sequoia Members

Parent/Child Social
When: Friday, June 19th
Sign Up Deadline by June 12th
Time: 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Who: Ages 10 and up and able to play full court and keep score
Cost: $50.00/team
Round robin play with your child, player gift and pizza

July 3rd Mixed Doubles Social
When: Friday, July 3rd
Time: 9:00-11:30am

Wednesday Night Coed Singles Challenge
What: Summer singles match play for members looking to get on the courts and enjoy fun competition.
When: Wednesday nights starting at 6:30pm on the following dates
June: 3, 10, 24
July: 1, 8
Time: 6:30pm start time
Details: Members can sign up for any week that works for their schedule. We will do our best to match players based on their tennis level. It will be a limited amount of space (12 players) per week due to court space so please do not wait to register.
Cost: Free for members
Registration: Please sign up by using our club software. Members can sign up 7 days before the event date.
Labor Day Mixed Doubles Social
When: Monday, Sept. 7th
